The Eagles started off strong and kept their lead against the Bulldogs of Byron Center on Tuesday night. Lakelyn Weber played strong defense by getting seven steals, 13 points, along with assists and rebounds. Ryan Vanderbeek contributed 10 points while getting a number of rebounds, while Sophia Sahtoe added 10 points and solid defense. Ella Haarsma played strong down low adding 8 points and a lot of rebounds. The Eagles won the game 53-30 and play Unity at home at 6:00 on Friday night.
