The Eagles traveled to Muskegon for a league game vs Reeths Puffer and ran out of time losing 4-3. No scoring in the first period as Blake Visser made 11 saves for the Eagles. Puffer would score first in the second, but the Eagles would answer when Justin Dusendang scored on a rebound shot from Dalen McAfee. The Eagles would get into some penalty trouble and Puffer would take advantage scoring the next three goals to take a 4-1 lead after two. The Eagles responded in the third period when Carter O'Gorman scored with assists from Lucas and Gavin Brandow. Then with 40 seconds left and the goalie pulled, Gavin Brandow scored on a deflection from Chet Krasinski's shot on goal to make the game 4-3. The Eagles had some chances but were unable to tie the game. Visser ended with 32 saves. The Eagles return home on Friday Jan 16th for a 4pm start vs Farmington on the east rink at Griff's Georgetown, and then a 1pm Saturday matchup with Jenison. Come out and support your Eagles!!
