JV Girls Fall To Rockford 45 - 33 Junior Varsity vs Rockford High School (33 - 45) Loss In a hard fought battle Hudsonville came up short to Rockford on Friday losing 45 -33. Both teams came out fast with Rockford leading 15 - 14 after one quarter. A frigid shooting second quarter was a major factor as the team went 1/15 and we were outscored 9 - 2. Adde Ulberg led the team with 9 points followed by Sofia Beel with 8 and Jill Kornoelje with 5. The team has a busy next 8 days as we navigate the winter weather. The 7 - 2 Eagles play at home on Tuesday January 20 at 4 versus East Kentwood in the Central Gym. Next up is a Friday contest at Grandville at 5:30 in their West Gym, home against South Christian on Monday January 26 at 6:30 in the Fieldhouse, home against Forest Hills Central on Tuesday January 27 at 5:30 in the Fieldhouse and then home against West Ottawa on January 30 at 4 PM in the Central Gym.
