JV Girls Win 53 - 30 over FHC Junior Varsity vs Forest Hills Central High School (53 - 30) Win The JV Girls Basketball team took on Forest Hills Central on Wednesday evening at Hudsonville and came away with a 53 - 30 victory. The team worked hard and while it was not a sharp performance they did come out on top. The team was led on defense by Jill Kornoelje with 5 steals (7 points) and Susie Sahtoe with 4 steals (6 points). Jayda Ortiz (guard) led all rebounders with 8 boards! Sofia Beel was hot shooting from three point range and finished with 16 points while Adde Ulberg had 11 and Kyra Poisson finished with 8. Next up is a home contest versus West Ottawa at 4 PM in the Central gym this Friday. Girls Freshmen play at 5:30 in the Central and Girls Varsity is the last game of the night at about 7 PM in the Fieldhouse. Go Eagles!
