The Hudsonville Varsity Baseball team returned from their annual Spring Break Training Florida Trip on Monday and defeated the Lowell Red Arrows 10-1. The Eagles used four pitchers to limit the Red Arrows to 1 run on 3 hits while striking out 11. Junior lefty Connor Garzelloni opened the game and picked up the win with 5 Ks. Coleton VanderPloeg Kd all three hitters faced in the 4th inning. Tyler Floriana pitched two good innings and Evan McCoy ended the game in the 7th. The Eagle offense was led by Senior SS, Caeden Kennedy who reached base 4 times (3 hits, 2 runs, a double, walk). Sophomore Brennen Reed added 2 hits, 2 RBI. Graeme Crooks also chipped in with 2 hits, RBI SF, and 2 runs. Senior 2B, Braylon Miller had a double, 2 RBI and 2 BB. The Eagles host Mattawan at home in a DH on Tuesday.
