Hudsonville High School

The Boys Varsity Cross Country team finished 5th today at the OK Red Jamboree hosted by South Christian. We tied with Grandville with a score of 108-108 but tiebreakers are decided by what team has the better 6th runner. Senior Nathan Kunzi beat out Grandville's 6th place guy. Brad Smies (jr) led the way for the varsity finishing 9th with a time of 16:40. Seniors Austin Van Ek and Lucas Dykhouse outperformed their seeds going into it and finished 16th and 24th. Calvin Kasprowicz (jr) was 27th and rounding out the varsity were Aidan Vermeulen (sr) and Alec Bolles (fr) finishing 32nd and 34th.
