Hudsonville High School

The Boys Varsity Cross Country team finished 3rd place getting on the podium in the first time in our school's history going to the MSU Invite at East Lansing Forest Akers golf course. Based on the times we were expected to get 5th. Seniors Aidan Vermeulen, Lucas Dykhouse and JR Calvin Kasprowicz had spectacular races jumped 15-20 spots off their initial seed times. Junior Brad Smies led the way to 10th and medaled. Also medaling Calvin Kasprowicz 24th and senior Austin Van Ek 26th. Seniors Nathan Kunzi and Freshmen Alec Bolles rounding out the varsity. In the JV race Hudsonville placed 5th. Medaling were freshmen Ethan Spoelman 15th and Elijah Ouwinga 18th. Scoring points for the JV also were Judah Molchan (fr), Henry Wert (sophomore), Jake Carlon (fr).
